Henry Plumb Foundation to host Sunday lunch event at Harper Adams University
22 May 2019

A special Sunday lunch event is to be held at Harper Adams University on June 30 to celebrate The Henry Plumb Foundation’s (HPF) seventh year as a positive influence shaping young farmers’ lives. The event aims to bring together the traditional Sunday lunch with stimulating discussion and quality entertainment.
The event, which is open to all supporters of future farmers, will showcase successful scholars, giving them the opportunity to talk about their own experiences of HPF and what it means to them.
To begin the event, an outline of work being done at Harper Adams University will be given by Dr. David Llewellyn, Vice Chancellor and there'll be an update on the progress of The Henry Plumb Foundation given by Lord Plumb and some of the trustees.
After some music, there will be an ‘auction of promises’, where guests are able to bid on items donated by family and friends. One of the aims of the event is to fundraise in order for the Foundation to continue its work in supporting young people to become established in the British food and farming sector.
For more information, or to register for the event please contact Mags Barrow at info@thehenryplumbfoundation.org.uk or call 01684 899255.
